![]() ![]() I also loved rift (?) assassins that used a runeword that gave you chance to cast frozen orb on striking/attack (?) which worked great together with the assassins fast kicks. It's not really a great build to start with since you will die if you make any mistakes but maybe you'll enjoy that, it's always fun when the game is a bit challenging. You'll be one-shotting almost everything but you still have to pay attention to what you are doing unlike hammerdins. ![]() I really enjoyed playing my titan barb which is a barbarian that focuses only on strength and damage, using whirlwind and a polearm/spear to hit enemies before they can hit you. They are hands down the best but by far not the most entertaining. The Necromancer and the Paladin are also the only characters that can break immunities in enemies, which becomes crucial in Hell difficulty, where every enemy is immune to at least one type of damage.I hated hammerdins but I have to admit that once they get enigma it's GG. ![]() Players can also use the Avenger Paladin or Hammerdin Paladin solo and get through the game fairly easily. Although more gear-heavy than the Necromancer, these Paladin builds focus on heavy damage through multiple elemental types. Using summoning abilities to bring in minions, and especially the golem, gives players the ability to play alone without needing a lot of gear. Each of these classes also has a top build that should be utilized by solo players.ĭiablo 2's Summoner Necromancer is arguably the best class and build in the game. The best three characters to use for solo plays are the Necromancer, the Paladin, and the Sorceress. Even when players are able to respec their characters, beating Hell difficulty alone is challenging. Playing alone through each difficulty in Diablo 2: Resurrected can be tough, but it becomes nearly impossible with the wrong class or build. ![]()
